Back In Black against Brontox
gooD God! Its been ages since I blogged... lol...

Anyhoo...

Brontox alert! This little bugger is causing troubles all over... From what I hear, it originated in Indonesia, but if its true or not is anybodies guess.
Anyway, some base information on this virus (WORM?)

If a computer is infected, and you plug in a thumb drive, your thumb drive will be corrupted. Somehow, it inserts a new "folder" into each folder in your thumb drive, using the name of that folder. Mind you, it only bears the folder icon, and the name of the containing folder, but a closer look will reveal it to be an application.

Somehow, I havent found any way to clean it yet, so I can only offer PREVENTIVE measures.

Why can't I clean it? The fact is, When you use Ctrl + Alt + Del, it closes the task pane, you can't search for the file, and you cant even use Run --> msconfig.
Hell, even opening the Folder Options file causes problems.

Will get back to ya'all if I get the cleaning solution, but for now, I cant suggest anything.
